Odile et les Cycleux offers three guest rooms ranging from 13 to 25 m², as well as a self-contained cottage with a surface area of 30 m².
Both simple and thoughtfully designed, the spaces provide everything you need for a relaxing and restorative stay, whether you are alone, as a couple or in a group : private bathroom and toilet facilities, bed linen and towels, Wi-Fi access.
Lyli Guest Room
With a surface area of 15 m², the room features a 160×200 cm double bed.
It pays tribute to Lyli Herse, nine-time French road cycling champion between 1956 and 1967, who also took part in the first Women’s Tour de France in 1955 where she won two stages. After her cycling career, she went on to manage the family business, “ René Herse Cycles ” and coached the first French female road cycling world champion.
Tillie Guest Room
With a surface area of 13 m², the room features a 160×200 cm double bed.
It pays tribute to Tillie Anderson, a road and track cyclist. During her career, she set numerous records, including a 100-mile (160 km) record in 6 hours and 57 minutes, won a multitude of six-day races and dominated the American women’s track cycling scene.
At the end of her cycling career, following the ban on women’s participation in races, she became a massage therapist while remaining involved in the development of cycling.
Beryl Burton Guest Room
With a surface area of 25 m², this room, which is also the family room, consists of two spaces : one with a 180×200 cm double bed that can be converted into two single beds, and the other with three 90×200 cm beds.
It pays tribute to Beryl Burton and her daughter Denise.Beryl was a double world champion and twelve-time British road cycling champion, as well as a five-time world champion and thirteen-time British pursuit champion. She also held numerous world records, including the 12-hour record, which remained unbeaten for over two years by men and for more than fifty years by women.
Denise, for her part, was a British road cycling champion, finishing just ahead of her mother.
Alfonsina Strada Cottage
Enjoy independence in this cottage : with a surface area of 30 m², it offers a fitted kitchen with a traditional oven, hob, and sink, as well as a bedroom with a 160×200 cm double bed.
The cottage pays tribute to Alfonsina Strada, the only woman to have completed one of the three major men’s Grand Tours, having taken part in and finished the 1924 Giro d’Italia. She also held the women’s hour record between 1911 and 1947, riding at an average speed of 37,192 km/h.
After her cycling career and thirty-six victories against men, she went on to open and run a bicycle workshop and shop in Milan.
